  • Suica Travel Card pre-loaded with 1,500 Yen. Use your card on JR East trains, the subway, monorail and buses. Additionally, you can use the credit to purchase soft drinks and coffee from train vending machines, or small items from convenience stores.
  • Kyoto Temples, Shrines, Castles & Spring Flowers Excursion - Osaka Port - Firstly, visit the famous Fushimi Inari Shrine, where thousands of red and black Torii Gates line a walking trail leading into Mt. Inari's wooded forest. Inari is the Shinto god of rice and Fushimi Inari is one of the most important shrines dedicated to the god. Next up is Kiyomizu Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its best-known feature is a 13 metre tall viewing platform offering spectacular views of Cherry Blossom and Maple trees, making it the perfect location for spotting the pretty flowers in bloom (blossom sighting can never be guaranteed). Later continue to Nijo Castle. Built in 1603 as the residence of the first shogun of the Edo Period and in 1867 the Tokugawa Shogunate fell and the castle then became an Imperial Palace before being opened to the public as a site of historic importance. In 1994 the castle became a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The last stop of the day is Arashiyama Bamboo forest where the tall bamboo stalks create a towering tunnel over the walkway below. Take a leisurely stroll through the grove, or enjoy a relaxing rickshaw ride (payable locally).
  • Sengan-en & Shiroyama Observatory Excursion - Kagoshima Port - Visit Sengan-en, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which was once the stately home of the Shimadzu Clan - a family with a long standing history in Kagoshima. The residence is set in the beautiful gardens with Sakurajima Volcano as a stunning backdrop. Continue on to Shiroyama Observatory for a view of Sakurajima volcano, and the beautiful surrounding Cherry Blossom trees (blossom sighting can never be guaranteed).
