Embarkation was busy but efficient, cabins good , ship very clean staff excellent. We had good weather sea was calm for the majority of the cruise. Food only mediocre my expectations were higher it was all very repetitive no variations hardly. Main restaurants all the same food. Speciality restaurants very expensive. Everything extra was very expensive. Entertainment very poor, even the 2 main show i thought were poor, comedian was awful. All in all only an ok Cruise.

We were in The Haven and it was pure luxury. Cannot fault anything from the food, cleanliness and the five-star service from the staff. Took my nine-month-old granddaughter who was treated like a princess. Tours well organised. Memorable holiday.

18 Apr 2025
The cruise ship was far better than I had expected, it had just come from dry dock so it was fresh and sparkling but it looked more distinguished ship than I Thought it might be from the website promotions which gave it the look of a Butlins-on-sea Type of cruise, whereas it was equal to Celebrity or Princess. In fact The layout was considerably better than Princess which is very disconnected at times. The food was in the main very well presented but in the main dining room a definite lack of variation. However as I had five dining vouchers For the specialty restaurants, the standard in all of them was very high. Infecting all the eating facilities throughout the ship the waiting service was Very professional and would post muster in any top class restaurant ashore. The crew and particularly The guest relations desk were extraordinary helpful, and I have no hesitation considering NCL again.
The downsides were primarily the extreme noise throughout the ship. None of it was necessary, and in particular the siting of a
Incredibly noisy event all day Just opposite the guest relations desk where people were probably a little stressed in any case as they were probably Seeking information about something important to them, who is this overwhelming noise to the extent that the guest relations staff could not actually hear what was being said and the cruise person could not be understood either. In my particular case as I am hard of hearing, it was absolutely impossible to actually conduct any sort of conversation To the extent that I had to go into another room behind the guest desk in order to be heard and understood. That these members of the crew have to face that seems unbelievably loud sound morning to night every day Is unbelievable. The same Problem of noise exists throughout the ship, and the microphones are obviously turned too high. Totally unnecessary as in most cases the audience they are playing to is less than 5 feet away. I did take some excursions but again and this is common to all the ships I have cruised on, or for shore excursions Easy, medium, and hard categories. These are often divided into those needing coaches with no walking at all, or walking in line with the courier, but at a pace those at the rear, often with sticks or wheelchairs, cannot catch up, and not hear tours not using earphones.
Wi-Fi is calculated at 150 or 300 minutes, on a daily basis, but as almost all people on the boat will have be using some sort of Internet connection, this really should be free or a modest amount for the whole cruise duration. It is on some other cruises.
I may will use NCL again And would recommend it to others.
