Windstar Cruises has announced that it will be sailing to Costa Rica once again this winter.
The Wind Star, an intimate 148-passenger motor sailing yacht, will sail the Pacific Coast on seven night cruises, with a Costa Rican naturalist onboard to offer a unique perspective on his country's sites and sounds.
"Windstar's Costa Rica itinerary has proved very popular," said Diane Moore, Windstar's vice president of marketing and sales.
"We are one of the only cruise lines that offers an entire week exploring the country's spectacular coastline and we can visit more small bays and harbours due to the intimate size of the ship."
The Wind Star has a water sports platform that lowers into the sea to allow fun and adventure to be had by all onboard. Complimentary water sports are offered.
Windstar Cruises' Pacific Coast trips depart from December until May and take in sites such as Playas del Coco, perfect for fishing and sailing, and Quepos, where monkeys can be seen in the Manuel Antonio National Park.
