Radio 2 veteran DJ Sir Terry Wogan will be setting sail in the name of charity this autumn onboard Queen Victoria
Sir Terry Wogan will depart on the TOG Voyage on November 17th 2008 in order to raise "a considerable sum" for the BBC's Children In Need charity.
The twelve-night Mediterranean cruise
will include entertainment, excursions and live programme's for Radio 2
"I love Sir Terry and I love the TOG's. I am really looking forward to the trip," commented jazz singer Clare Teale who is to sail alongside the Radio 2 team.
All passengers who book to travel on the Mediterranean cruise
onboard Queen Victoria
can sail safe in the knowledge that Cunard Cruises
will contribute ten per cent of the fare of all TOG bookings to the Children in Need.
The Tog Voyage will include a champagne reception, an "intrepid Tog's land excursion", a pub quiz , The Loose Cannon Karaoke, Janet and John Live, the Return of Blankety Blank and live music.
The cruise will call at Istanbul, Cairo, Malta, and Messina in Sicily.
