Celebrity Cruises has announced that it has reprised its shorter four and five-night
Caribbean cruises.
According to
Celebrity Cruises, the voyages are the "perfect" break for guests who wish to get a taster for the Caribbean in a short time frame.
These shorter cruises will be available in 2009-2010 for the winter season and will feature 29 short cruises to the western Caribbean onboard
Celebrity Century, calling at such ports as Ocho Rios, Georgetown, Cozumel and Key West.
"Onboard the 1,814-guest
Celebrity Century, guests can enjoy all the enhancements made when the ship underwent a $55 million (£25 million) makeover in 2006. These upgrades included the addition of 314 new verandas,"
Celebrity Cruises notes.
The cruise line has recently expanded its AquaSpa and added a specialty restaurant, Murano. Other features of the cruise ship include an at-sea ice bar.
Celebrity Cruises recently announced its intention to ban smoking in its staterooms and stateroom verandas from October 2008.
