Royal Caribbean Cruises is planning to increase the number of European passengers it carries, according to reports.
The line is set to deploy 22 ships in Europe next year and says that it is committed to increasing its share of the European market.
According to TravelMole, the Royal Caribbean is dedicating some of its most modern and innovative vessels to European passengers.
Speaking at a recent convention in Venice, Michael Bayley, the cruise line's senior vice president international, said: "We are also focusing on enhanced products and onboard options that will further increase the satisfaction of our growing number of international guests.
"These factors increase our confidence that the Royal Caribbean Cruises brands will continue to grow their market share in Europe and the Mediterranean in 2009."
Royal Caribbean's hotly anticipated Oasis of the Seas ship is set to launch next year.
