Royal Caribbean Cruises launched SeaPass

Royal Caribbean Cruises has introduced a new scheme that will allow passengers to personalise the service they receive onboard its ship, Rhapsody of the Seas.

On embarkation, guests will be given either a gold or silver SeaPass card which will allow them to tailor aspects of their journey from the types of pillow they sleep on to the food they eat.

Passengers will also be able to choose from additional extra treats including 24-hour room service, petit fours and pre-dinner cheese selections.

There is also a free ironing service for diners to take advantage of before donning their formal evening attire and a complimentary luggage service for use on departure.

Rhapsody of the Seas will be setting off on 18 cruises during its 2009-10 season and passengers will be able to pick from five different categories of suite.

The cruise line's other ships include Oasis of the Seas and Liberty of the Seas.
