Cunard Cruises' newest liner
Queen Victoria is to include a museum exhibit detailing the company's history.
Upon its launch in December, the vessel will feature a special display entitled Cunardia, featuring memorabilia from
Cunard Cruises' distinguished history.
Pieces available for the perusal of voyagers are to include Queen Mary's log book as well as the Zig Zag clock that prevented World War II U-Boats attacking the ship.
"The excitement surrounding this exhibit is unprecedented," said Carol Marlow, President of
Cunard Cruises.
"Anecdotes, artefacts and memorabilia continue to pour in - a stirring testament to
Cunard Cruises' singular place in the hearts of maritime enthusiasts around the world."
Themed around five storylines - Creating a Queen, A Queen's Day, Queens at War, Queens Do Not Race and Inspired by a Queen - the exhibit will also use the company's image archive to bring to life this journey into the past.
Queen Victoria is also to feature a well-stocked two-storey library.
