The moment for the latest
Cunard Cruises' vessel to make her debut is fast approaching and it has now been announced that the vessel will be christened with a magnum of Veuve Clicquot.
Christening the
Queen Victoria with the bottle of Yellow Label Veuve Clicquot will be the Duchess of Cornwall.
The champagne brand will be fitting for the occasion, as the latest Cunardier features a Veuve Clicquot Champagne Bar on its second deck, which is styled in a 1920s Art Deco theme serving champagne exclusively.
"The tastes of our discerning guests are appropriately matched with the enjoyment of drinking Veuve Clicquot Champagne and we are delighted to, once again, feature a Veuve Clicquot Champagne Bar aboard our new Cunard liner," commented Carol Marlow, President of
Cunard Cruises.
Queen Victoria will be christened by the duchess on December 10th before entering into service on December 11th and travelling to Europe on her ten-day maiden Christmas markets cruise.
