Princess Cruises is upping its capacity for Caribbean sailings next summer, it has announced.
Five selections for itineraries will be available on the two extra ships being used in 2010.
The two Princess ships will sail from Florida and New York.
Both the
Emerald Princess and the
Caribbean Princess will have outdoor theatres, wine and seafood bars.
Executive vice president of Princess Cruises, Jan Swartz, said there had been more demand for Caribbean cruises in the summer.
"So in response, we've significantly expanded our programme to offer cruisers a choice of sailings and the option of two departure points," he said.
Destinations covered by Princess Cruises include Australia and New Zealand and the Panama Canal.
There is also Asia, Alaska and the Mexican Riviera, among other places.
In addition, the World Cruise is an option and can be taken aboard the ships Royal Princess, Dawn Princess or Tahitian Princess for three different itineraries.
