Passengers who travelled onboard
Emerald Princess last year are likely to have had first hand experience of
Princess Cruises' Chef's Table dinners.
However, from early 2008, passengers onboard other
Princess Cruises ships such as
Crown Princess and
Caribbean Princess will also be able to sample in the epicurean delights offered by this exclusive dining experience.
The unique "treat for foodies" enables passengers to go behind the scenes in a ship's galley during the preparation of dinner.
Guests can enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres before sitting down to a special taster dinner comprised of several courses.
"We knew many of our guests would enjoy this unusual close-up view of our culinary operations, but we were truly surprised by the tremendous interest - it's sold out every cruise," commented Rai Caluori, Executive Vice-President of Fleet Operations at Princess Cruises.
He added that hosting such an event necessitates a high level of commitment from the kitchen team.
