The world's biggest cruise liner has arrived in her home port after being flanked by a ceremonial maritime escort.
Royal Caribbean'sOasis of the Seas has debuted at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale following a 14-day transatlantic crossing from the Finnish port of Turku.
Her arrival in the US comes ahead of the official naming ceremony, which will take place on November 30th during an inaugural celebration fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Oasis of the Seas was welcomed into Port Everglades by hundreds of spectators, including Royal Caribbean executives, local government officials, locals and the media.
Described as "the world's most revolutionary cruise ship", the vessel will undergo a series of final cosmetic changes ahead of the naming ceremony, which will begin with an exclusive private performance by Rihanna.
Oasis of the Seas spans 16 decks and weighs a massive 225,282 tons. It has a capacity of 5,400 guests and boasts 2,700 staterooms.
Royal Caribbean officially took delivery of Oasis of the Seas on October 28th after a building programme lasting approximately six years.
