Get ready for Royal Caribbean International’s newest cruise ship as the first piece of steel was cut this week and construction is underway!
The ground-breaking new cruise ship will be the next evolution of Royal Caribbean’s popular Quantum Class and is classed as a Quantum Ultra ship.
Royal Caribbean has revealed that its newest ship will be named Spectrum of the Seas. The ship is expected to have many high-tech onboard features much like Royal Caribbean’s Quantum Class ships (See Ovation of the Seas).
The award-winning cruise line is known for it’s wow-moment innovations at sea, such as robotic bartenders, skydiving and surfing onboard. Royal Caribbean's latest Oasis Class cruise ship Symphony of the Seas, (set to sail in 2018) boasts a hair raising 10 deck slide known as the Ultimate Abyss.
Set to sail in 2019, new ship Spectrum of the Seas has been designed for guests in the China and Asia-Pacific region and joins Royal Caribbean’s 20+ strong fleet.
