Residents of the north of England look set to benefit from an announcement by Island Cruises
that weekly flights will be available from Leeds Bradford airport for Mediterranean cruise
Now, travellers will be able to enjoy a seven-day cruise holiday, while in the past the Mediterranean fly cruise holiday with Island Cruises was only available as a fourteen-day excursion.
This could mean that more people are tempted to enjoy a family cruise
holiday in the Mediterranean with Island Cruises, as they may have less time and money to spend on a cruise holiday.
The Island Star
will be operating Mediterranean cruises from May 2008. Island Cruises
offer a more relaxed form of cruising that could appeal to those on family cruise holidays as they operate a more relaxed dress code and Island Star itself offers facilities aimed at children such as Palmy's Kid's Club for three to six year-olds and Action Zone Arcade for teenagers.
