Costa Cruises has revealed that it will be sailing a cruise that departs from and returns to Hong Kong, with
Costa Allegra the ship chosen for the 14-night cruises.
The first departures on the cruise will be in May 2007, with the new itinerary treating guests to the sights and sounds of Malaysia, the Philippines, Brunei, Singapore and Vietnam, as well as the home port of Hong Kong.
Costa Cruises is the first international cruise line allowed to operate in the Chinese market and depart from the country's ports, meaning
Costa Allegra passengers will be part of something very special.
The cruises will depart on a total of nine dates in 2007, with Costa Allegra switching to shorter cruises from China in 2008.
Four and five-night cruises, departing from either Hong Kong, Shanghai or Tianjin, will take in Japan, Vietnam and South Korea. The cruises will depart in February, April, May, June, July, September and October 2008.
Costa Cruises recently became the first company to have a ship with a home port of Dubai, when
Costa Classica took up residence in the Emirate.
