Norwegian Cruise Line's (NCL) latest F3 ship will be known as the
Norwegian Epic, it has been revealed.
Details of the vessel's inaugural season itineraries have also been unveiled.
The 4,200-passenger ship will embark on year-round voyages to the Caribbean from Miami, beginning in 2010.
Kevin Sheehan, NCL's president and chief executive, said the Norwegian Epic will take freestyle cruising to the "next level".
"The combination of the ship's exciting new features, along with the tropical allure of these Caribbean destinations, will provide an extraordinary cruise vacation for our guests," he commented.
Norwegian Epic will showcase a range of new and exciting features, including curved staterooms and five stylish evening entertainment venues.
In related news, NCL unveiled its winter 2010-11 deployment plans earlier this week and said it will remain committed to the European market.
