Carol Marlow, president of
Cunard Cruises has been succeeded in her role as chairman of the Passenger Shipping Association by Stena Line commercial manager Lars Olsson.
The Passenger Shipping Association is responsible for the promotion of sea travel and boasts 37 cruise members and the announcement was made at the organisation's annual general meeting in London.
Director of the Passenger Shipping Association Bill Gibbons made a point of thanking Ms Marlow for her efforts during her two-year period in office.
"I would like to put on record our great appreciation of the work undertaken by Carol in the last two years and welcome Lars to his new position," he noted.
Ms Marlow reflected recently on the legacy of
Cunard Cruises on the CEO show.
The president of
Cunard Cruises spoke of the cruise line's early years and the "extraordinary service" its passengers have received over the years.
