Creating a relaxing environment for travelers has provided the focus for the company charged with the task of redesigning the decor onboard
Holland America's newest signature-class ship the ms Eurodam, according to reports.
The NB Design Group from Seattle, Washington was responsible for giving the ms Eurodam a makeover ahead of its 2008 debut and the company explained that its aim was to create a "soothing" atmosphere onboard.
Due to make its maiden voyage in June of next year,
Holland America's luxury-liner will boast a "stylish new decor" and carry over 2,000 guests, reports Cruise Talk Central.
"There is so much taking place aboard a cruise ship - diverse activities, exciting dining, theater shows, and more - that we wanted the guest rooms to reflect a soothing environment," Nancy Burfiend, principal designer and founder of the NB Design Group, is quoted as saying.
Holland America has a 13-strong fleet of ships in operation to date and the company runs trips to the Caribbean and Alaska among a host of other destinations around the world.
