Holidaymakers considering booking a cruise holiday have been told of some questions they may wish to ask before completing a booking.
Writing for SmarterTravel.com, Ed Perkins encourages individuals to carefully consider if they are getting a good deal or not.
He advises holidaymakers to do their research into the actual vessel that they will be travelling on during a trip, including reading reviews.
Furthermore, people should closely inspect their itinerary to ensure that they are completely happy with what they are receiving for their money.
Mr Perkins highlights that a person may in some instances want to choose a break with either more or less port stops.
Finally, he recommends that negotiations take place over the sort of cabin a person is set to enjoy, including whether they will have a partially obstructed view or get to look out of a full-size window.
A number of different breaks are open to holidaymakers including
Mediterranean cruises,
Hawaii cruises and
Transatlantic cruises.
