Norwegian Cruise Lines has announced details of its first season of cruises from Southampton.
Once more,
NCL Cruises is focussing on a freestyle cruising concept which precludes dress codes, set meal times and formal eating establishments.
New ship Norwegian Jade will be based in Southampton this summer and will offer sailings to the Mediterranean and Norway as well as locations around Britain.
"With up to 13 dining options to choose from, guests will be lucky to see the same people twice, let alone sit through a meal with them every night, unless they want to, of course," the cruise line noted recently.
Other cruises available with
NCL include two weekend cruises to Le Havre and Zeebrugge.
According to
Norwegian Cruise Lines, it was demand for its flexible style of cruising for UK holidaymakers that led to the company berthing its ship Norwegian Jewel in the region.
