Cruise company
Costa Cruises has announced a series of cruises themed around dance and dance lessons, to start this autumn.
The company's
Costa Concordia ship will be the host of the new Tango Festival on the Sea travel experiment, based mainly around latin dancing.
The project will be run in conjunction with the Cultural Association of Tango Turin and the Association of Tango Querido.
And the cruise is projected to set sail on November 25th of this year, departing from Civitavecchia, Rome for a full seven nights.
Guests will be shown the steps by three internationally renowned dance partnerships: Sebastian Arce and Mariana Montes, Esteban Moreno and Claudia Codega and Marcela Guevara and Stefano Giudice.
Dance classes will be offered for three different levels of experience, but the tango instructors will also let guests take a rest while they entertain them with their own dance shows.
The
Costa Concordia was launched in July of last year and is one of the company's largest ships, including one of the largest floating spas in the world, a Grand Prix simulator and two swimming pools.
Barcelona, Palma De Mallorca, and the islands of Malta and Sicily will be among the spots visited during the dance cruise.
