Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth 2 and Queen Victoria rendezvous at New York Harbour.
The event promises to be momentous as it will be the only occasion that the three sister ships will sail together out of the harbour as Queen Elizabeth 2 is set to retire from active duty later next year.
A firework display will mark the occasion when the liners meet and sail past the Statue of Liberty.
"This is an historic occasion for Cunard and New York, marking the only time that the three ships will be together...ever. More history will be made as our grand dame Queen Elizabeth 2 departs on her 26th and final World Cruise and Queen Victoria will depart on her maiden World Cruise," said Carol Marlow, president of Cunard Cruises.
The best locations for witnessing the event - which will take place on January 13th 2008 - are suggested to be Robert F Wagner Junior Park, Battery Park, The Esplanade and Hudson River Park.
Upon her retirement, Queen Elizabeth 2 will enter into service as a floating hotel off Dubai.
