The Cunard Line has revealed that 2008 will see the new liner, Queen Victoria, take part in her inaugural world cruise.
The news comes as the Cunard Line announces its full itinerary for the year, with plenty on offer for passengers choosing the Cunard Line as their cruise line of choice.
Departing from New York, Queen Victoria, a 90,000 tonne ship featuring 1,007 guest staterooms, will sail for a 105-day Pathway to the Explorers cruise, featuring a series of 13 to 22-day 'segment voyages'.
These voyages will take in the likes of Aruba, Costa Rica, Mexico, Fiji, New Zealand and Australia and with almost every port being the maiden appearance from Queen Victoria, there is sure to be a special atmosphere.
Six to 24-day segment voyages will be available during Queen Elizabeth 2's 26th world cruise. Brazil, Barbados, Uruguay, Japan and Hawaii just a selection of the available ports visited on this magnificent liner.
