The
Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2) is to fit one extra date into her final tour, cruise operator
Cunard Line has revealed.
Ahead of her departure to become a hotel and entertainment destination in Dubai, the iconic liner is going on one final farewell tour.
With demand understandably high,
Cunard Line has responded by adding to the available journeys on which faithful passengers may say their goodbyes.
Carol Marlow, President of
Cunard Line, explains: "The demand for QE2's 2008 voyages has been phenomenal since we announced she was leaving the fleet."
"The introduction of this new voyage means we can give people a further opportunity to experience the most famous ship in the world," she adds.
Iberia in Bloom is the new addition to the schedule, an eight-day tour of France, Spain and Portugal.
Cunard states that the
QE2 has carried over two million voyagers in her 40-year history as an ocean-going vessel.
