A number of leading cruise lines have been recognised for their achievements at the World Travel Awards 2008.
The awards are widely considered to be the Oscars of the travel industry and recognise excellence across a number of categories.
P&O Cruises was named as the world's leading large ship cruise line, with judges commending it for managing to maintain such high standards.
Carnival Cruises was named as the world's leading cruise brand, while Royal Caribbean picked up the award for the world's leading line.
Jamaica was named as the world's leading cruise destinations, with its white sandy beaches and turquoise waters clearly proving irresistible to holidaymakers.
Meanwhile, Dubai was named as both the world's leading destination and the world's leading port.
The awards took place earlier this week in the Caribbean paradise of Turks & Caicos.
