A group of most iconic stars are to christen a new pair of
Princess Cruises ships on May 12th.
Florence Henderson, famous for playing Carol Brady in The Brady Bunch and Marion Ross - also known as Marion Cunningham in Happy Days - will name the
Emerald Princess.
Their on-screen daughters, Susan Olsen and Erin Moran (Cindy Brady and Joanie Cunningham) are to christen the
Royal Princess.
Princess Cruises' relationship with three of the actresses goes back a long way. Henderson, Ross and Moran all guest starred in episodes of TV drama The Love Boat, which aired between 1977 and 1986 and was set on the Pacific Princess.
"Millions in Britain know Florence Henderson and Marion Ross as America's quintessential mothers and Susan Olsen and Erin Moran as their daughters from the iconic television programmes Happy Days and The Brady Bunch," says Pieter van der Schee, Head of Brand Marketing at
Princess Cruises.
The line blends "British expertise and style with American 'can do' service and high standards", according to Mr van der Schee.
