The Costa Deliziosa has become the 15th ship in the
Costa Cruises fleet to be installed with the cruise line's iconic blue and yellow funnel.
Costa Deliziosa is currently being constructed at the Fincantieri shipyards in Marghera and is due to launch in February 2010.
With an interior featuring materials, such as marble, wood, mother-of-pearl and Murano glass, the Deliziosa will offer seven-day cruises around the Arabian Gulf, calling at ports including the Arab Emirates, Oman and Bahrain.
"There's also all the ultramodern onboard fun and entertainment: 4D cinema, roller skating track, Golf and Grand Prix simulators, PlayStation World with PS3 and the exclusive 3,500 m² "Samsara Spa" wellness centre with the Technogym Kinesis room," Costa said.
The cruise line plans to introduce five new ships over the coming three years increasing its capacity by 50 per cent.
Ship's currently being operated by Costa include the
Costa Fortuna,
Costa Atlantica and Costa Magica.
