Costa Cruises says it has launched a new blog to keep passengers updated and involved in all of the cruise line's innovations and developments.
The blog will be used to post photographs, videos and text and readers will also have the opportunity to make contributions and leave comments.
"All this starts with Costa's two new ships, the Costa Luminosa and the Costa Pacifica, which will be christened together in Genoa on 5 June 2009 during an extraordinary and "record-breaking" event," the cruise line said.
Costa's blog can be accessed at blog.costacrociere.it and, according to Costa, it will act as a two-way communication space.
The blog is one of a number of initiatives rolled out by Costa to keep passengers involved in developments.
Other recent projects include a dedicated YouTube channel and the launch of Costa Web TV.
Some of the ships currently operated by the cruise line include the Costa Lunimosa, Costa Fortuna and Costa Atlantica.
