Costa Cruises may be about to add a number of exciting new destinations to its itineraries.
Although official details will be kept under wraps until September, TravelMole reports that Costa may be planning to introduce cruises to previously uncharted waters.
Destinations currently served by
Costa Cruises include South America and the Caribbean.
UK managing director Marco Rosa declined to comment on the speculation but did admit that the cruise line are "looking to some new destinations and should know by September".
Mr Rosa added that despite the current credit crunch, cruise bookings were looking particularly healthy and suggested that there had been a "huge" number of late bookings.
Cruiseindustrynews.com claimed that holidaymakers are opting to take cruise holidays in an effort to beat the strong euro.
Britons taking cruises this year can expect to pay for most of their holiday expenses in sterling and eliminate the worry of currency fluctuations.
