Costa Cruises has announced that it is to berth a second ship in Asia.
Costa Classica will join sister ship Costa Allegra in Asian waters from March 2009 in an effort to take advantage of the positive trend for its cruises in the region.
The latter ship has been docked in the region since July 2006 and has taken over 50,000 cruise passengers on roughly 100 cruises during this period.
From November 2008 through November 2009, the Costa Allegra will offer holidaymakers a choice of 30 cruises while the Costa Classica will be sailing on 33 cruises lasting between four and 14 days from its launch in March 27th 2009 until November 7th 2009.
Costa Cruises is a popular cruise line among those seeking to enjoy
family cruises with onboard activities including sports tournaments, art and craft activities like sculpting, t-shirt making and a sailing knots course, as well as games and parties.
All cruises also offer lessons and mini shows on subjects such as juggling, pantomime, clownery, magic and video editing.
