Celebrity Cruises intends for its newest cruise liner,
Celebrity Solstice to call at the tropical island of St Kitts when it embarks on its maiden voyage.
According to South Florida Caribbean News,
Celebrity Solstice will also call at Federation island alongside sister ship Celebrity Equinox.
Celebrity Solstice will sail to St Kitts on its inaugural
Caribbean cruise this November and Celebrity Equinox, will later call at St Kitts as part of an Ultimate Caribbean cruise visiting Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas, Dominica, Bridgetown, Barbados, Philipsburg, St Maarten and Grand Cayman.
Celebrity Equinox - which is due to be christened in spring 2009 - will boast classic Celebrity Cruises features including The Lawn Club where guests can play croquet and an area where passengers can watch glassblowing demonstrations.
Other Celebrity Cruises ships sailing to the Caribbean in the coming year include
Celebrity Constellation,
Celebrity Mercury and
Celebrity Summit.
