Celebrity Cruises' new vessel
Celebrity Equinox has won over one critic, who described it as "a sparkling floating hotel" that is enormous yet beautiful.
Writing in the Manchester Evening News, Maria McGeoghan highlighted the cruise ship's "sumptuous lobby" and "sweeping staircase", which she had an opportunity to see during a Christmas break.
Enjoying a ten-day cruise around the Caribbean Islands, the author was impressed by the ship's facilities including a running track ideal for fitness fanatics, as well as a full gym, a solarium and spa.
Celebrity Equinox is capable of catering for a diverse range of holidaymakers thanks to its amenities, which include a kids' club, a library, a card room, disco, casino and art gallery.
Ms McGeoghan wrote that the ship also features a theatre with a new show every night, a cinema and the Lawn Club, which provides a real grass patch from which croquet or boules can be enjoyed in the middle of the ocean.
