Celebrity Cruises will begin offering Bermuda itineraries again, it has been revealed.
The cruise line has caved into demand from its passengers and will be returning to Bermuda from 2010.
Dan Hanrahan, Celebrity Cruises' president and chief executive, commented: "Celebrity has a long and positive history with the beautiful island of Bermuda, and we're thrilled to respond to demand that we return, from our longtime guests and travel agent partners alike."
The Celebrity Summit ship will be repositioned from San Juan to New Jersey, from where it will embark on a number of seven-night Bermuda sailings.
In other news, it was announced earlier this month that the cruise line is planning to base one of its vessels in the UK.
From 2010, the Celebrity Eclipse will offer sailings from Southampton to the Mediterranean and northern Europe.
