Passengers who thought that they were heading on a four-night cruise to the Caribbean next summer on board the
Celebrity Century vessel have had their plans changed.
The Daily Mirror reports that the vessel is now needed to carry passengers around the Mediterranean, however, the cruise line is more than adequately compensating those inconvenienced by the problem.
Instead, passengers will get to spend a seven-night cruise to the Caribbean on the
Celebrity Solstice ship.
Among the elements of the Celebrity Solstice ship that holidaymakers can enjoy are the contemporary Quasar nightclub, an AquaSpa and a Fortunes Casino, providing an atmosphere more typically associated with Monte Carlo.
According to the Daily Mirror,
Celebrity Cruises president Dan Hanrahan said: "Discussions with our travel partners and guests in North America and Europe indicated even stronger demand for the ship in Europe next summer.
"With Celebrity Solstice scheduled to sail in the Caribbean year-round, our guests can enjoy the best seven-night Caribbean cruise experience on the market."
Celebrity Cruises also run trips to a number of other destinations including South America and the Galapagos Islands.
