A new cruise option being offered by
Carnival Cruises is set to be a blogger's dream, it has been claimed.
The new 13,000 tonne Carnival Dream will host to two special blogger trips in 2009, hosted by senior cruise director and 'blogger extraordinaire' John Heald, whose behind the scenes cruise blog has attracted over 3 million hits, cruisetalk.org reports.
Mr Heald is quoted by the website as saying: "Here we are announcing our third and fourth cruises for fans of my blog, on board the newest and most exciting Carnival ship ever, the Carnival Dream."
Fans taking part in the voyages will enjoy either an eight-day trip taking in the sights of New York, Florida and the Bahamas, or a nine-day venture including stops in Florida, Antigua, Tortola, St Thomas, San Juan and Grand Turk.
Both cruises will include meet and greets with Mr Heald himself, trivia contests and question and anwser sessions.
Carnival Cruises recently announced it would be increasing its capacity from New York in 2010, with additional trips available on the 2,978-passenger Carnival Glory.
