Brown to perform on the Aurora

Date Posted: 12 Jun 2009
Fans of television illusionist Derren Brown will get the chance to see the star give a live performance on board a cruise with P&O Cruises later this year.

Brown will use all of his perceptual manipulation and persuasive techniques when riding on the Aurora ship during a three-night journey in September.

The cruise will leave Southampton on September 23rd and will stop at Zeebrugge in Belgium and Le Havre in France.

During the trip, Brown will give two 45-minute interactive shows and viewers can expect similar stunts to those pulled on a number of his television shows.

Those interested in boarding the Aurora to view the shows can begin booking tickets from June 12th, with prices opening from £214 per person and the show being staged in the ship's Curzon Theatre.

Among Brown's stage shows was that entitled 'Something Wicked This Way Comes', which won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Entertainment Show of 2006.

Travellers can also opt to take a full-day tour of Paris as part of the trip, where they can take in sights including the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre.

What our customers say

"I booked a Fred Olsen cruise with IGLU last month and was so impressed by the service I received. The staff member I spoke to was Kimberley and she was exemplary. Capable, kind, professional, patient, friendly and knowledgeable. She went through every step of the way calmly and thoroughly. IGLU were recommended to me by friends and I have no hesitation in passing the recommendation along. Well done IGLU and thank you. "

"So easy to deal with, I studied the Cruise I wanted, did my research with different company's and returned to Iglu. I had three quotes matching Iglu’s cost, but with one phone call they beat the price themselves by £40 without me even asking, how easy was that! "
