British travellers are the most likely to book a world cruise, according to the latest research from cruise line P&O Cruises.
The company has also offered that the number of young travellers looking to book a cruise is increasing as they join more experienced holidaymakers booking a cruise holiday using P&O Cruises.
"The P&O Cruises worldwide voyages are becoming increasingly popular, with higher percentages of repeat bookings than other itineraries," said commercial director for P&O Cruises, Nigel Esdale.
"We are also thrilled to see the number of new world cruise passenger bookings rise."
The research carried out by P&O Cruises coincides with the launch of their 2007-08 World Voyages brochure, which the company said has been launched three months ahead of schedule due to the interest in cruise holidays in South America and Antarctica.
P&O Cruises said that the brochure previews cruise holidays on its Artemis, Aurora and Oriana liners.
