The fifth ship in Celebrity Cruises' Solstice class has been announced as the Celebrity Reflection. The brand new ship is expected to enter service in November 2012. It joins the superb existing fleet of Celebrity Equinox, Celebrity Eclipse, and the forthcoming Celebrity Solstice and Celebrity Silhouette.
On announcing Celebrity Reflection, Celebrity Cruises President and CEO Dan Hanrahan said "Our Solstice Class ships offer the finest in premium cruising, with service provided by the best men and women in the hospitality business, as evidenced by the tremendous response from our guests, travel partners and the press, and a continuously expanding series of prestigious awards. There is no question that Celebrity Reflection will deliver an equally outstanding holiday experience for our guests."
The total investment for this fleet of ships tops an incredible $3.7bn, which makes the Solstice class the largest new-build commitment for a single brand in the whole cruise industry. The Celebrity Reflection aims to provide guests with some brand new, soon to be announced, features.
Existing features of the popular Solstice class include the Qsine restaurant with iPad-enhanced menus, the half acre Lawn Club with real grass and the Celebrity iLounge - cruise's first authorised Apple reseller.
Expect much more information to be revealed about the Celebrity Reflection in the coming months.
