Princess Cruises has announced its plans for journeys to Alaska in 2011, with a range of options giving travellers the perfect choice.
In all, there will be 104 Alaska departures aboard six ships from the company's fleet, including the
Diamond Princess and the
Coral Princess.
One of the key journeys will be the popular 'Voyage of the Glaciers', which will go between Vancouver and Whittier, stopping off at Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway along the way, while also giving those on board the chance to take in the majesty of the 16 glaciers of College Fjord.
Jan Swartz, executive vice president of Princess Cruises, said: "Our 2011 programme retains all of the classic Princess signatures that make us the clear leader in Alaska, plus some new options.
"And visiting the heart of Alaska has never been so affordable."
Facilities on the Diamond Princess include four swimming pools and eight whirlpool spas, as well dining rooms with Italian, steak, Asian and Southwestern themes.
Meanwhile, the Coral Princess has a wedding chapel, a 24-hour panoramic buffet and an outdoor pizzeria and hamburger grill.
