UK cruise fans may be pleased to learn that
MSC Cruises has promised that a British flavour will define the naming ceremony of its newest ship.
The Dover naming of
MSC Poesia is to be attended by a 90 per cent-UK audience and conducted in English, Chief Executive Pierfrancesco Vago told Travel Weekly.
Mr Vago said that the ship would appeal to British travellers with its "Mediterranean flair", a characteristic of all the line's cruises.
Known for Italian-style voyages,
MSC Cruises' are special more for a unique atmosphere than any single defining feature, the Chief Executive added.
Onboard
MSC Poesia, guests can enjoy candlelit dinners after a relaxing few hours in the spa, safe in the knowledge that the highest standard of service will define every endeavour.
MSC Poesia is to be a member of the line's Musica class.
