Princess Cruises has implemented a new streamlined process to ease the process of embarking and alighting from its cruises.
Princess Cruises reveals that unlike the past system of passengers responding to public address calls for their luggage tag colour, staggering the disembarkation times, passengers can now leaving the ship in more comfort.
Cruisers will be given an assigned time and place in which to gather on the last morning of the cruise holiday before being personally taken to the gangway by a member of
Princess Cruises' staff.
"We've been praised for our innovative embarkation program that enables passengers to board the ship without long delays, check into their cabins early, and begin enjoying the cruise amenities including meals and beverages," Jan Swartz, Senior Vice-President of Customer Service at the cruise company said.
She added that passengers have so far responded enthusiastically to the changes, claiming that they are now able to enjoy their final morning of cruising much more.
Princess Cruises recently announced it is to host a series of poker competitions onboard its vessels this cruise season.
