In Gibraltar, take advantage of the incredible views from Europa Point and visit the underground chambers of St Michael's cave- watch out for the Barbary Apes though!

6 Nice (Villefranche)
Nice (Villefranche)
With its casual affluence, flower-lined streets, flourishing markets, and interesting museums (the Musée Chagall and Musée Matisse are highlights), Nice is a charming introduction to the spirit of the Côte d’Azur. Stroll along its wide sunny boulevards, broken here and there by shady gardens and parks. Or stop for bouillabaisse, a specialty of the area, in a local restaurant.
7 Ajaccio, Corsica
Ajaccio, Corsica
Ajaccio blends the warmth and spontaneity of Italy with Etiquette and panache of France. Don't miss Maison Bonaparte, the birthplace of Napoleon.
8 Cagliari, Sardinia
Cagliari, Sardinia
Treat your tastebuds in this Sardinian hot spot. Wild Boar and fish marinated in walnut and garlic are particular favourites.
9-10 Palma, Majorca
Palma, Majorca
Whether it’s lazing on one of the beaches, people watching from a cafe terrace or the fascinating old city that interests you, Palma has it all.

Malaga
Malaga is the major coastal city of Andalucia and is a genuine and typical Andaluz city with a gritty individualism untouched by tourism and, to a large extent, the passage of time.

Unfortunately it was a ship wreck, the stabiliser snapped, went through the hull, the ship took on water, we never made it to most of the ports and limped around the canaries.. we had to find out in google what had really gone wrong with the ship and why we had to do an emergency dick in Vigo for two days !! Holiday ruined
