We recently sailed on the MSC Virtuosa for a week, and overall, we had a memorable experience, especially with the fantastic food, top-notch facilities, and superb entertainment on offer. There was always something to do, whether it was dining in the various restaurants or enjoying the entertainment in the evenings. The highlights, however, were undoubtedly the days spent at port, with each tour being rich in history and filled with fascinating insights. Our favorite stop was Flam—its breathtaking surroundings and scenic walkways were beyond beautiful, and it became an unforgettable location for us as we got engaged on the Flam walkway. The personal photographer on board captured this special moment for us, adding to the magic of the trip.Special mention must go to the amazing staff who made our stay extra special. Forsette and Cleopatra, our room attendants, were incredible—they kept everything immaculate and always greeted us with a smile. Our waiter, Sagar, took excellent care of us throughout the week, and his attention to detail was appreciated. We felt very well looked after by everyone.However, there were some significant downsides that affected our overall enjoyment. The other passengers were often very rude, which made certain parts of the trip less enjoyable. We were especially disappointed by the lack of supervision of children on board, who seemed to be running riot without much regard for others.Another downside was that everything onboard seemed to come with an extra cost if you wanted anything special. While we anticipated some expenses, many things felt overpriced, and it quickly added up if you wanted to experience the more unique aspects of the cruise.Despite these negatives, our time onboard had its beautiful moments, particularly our engagement, and we’re grateful for the attentive staff and stunning ports of call, especially Flam.

The cruise was brilliant and Norway beautiful. The ship was great for my 9 year old son, who loved all of the activities. As a single person, I was made to feel really comfortable. My only criticism would be the restaurant food, complimentary dining. The food wasn’t that great in my opinion, so we quite often opted for the buffet. Thank you

Overall everything was fantastic, Yacht club checkin was fast and seamless.The cabin was exactly as described. The food was of a very high standard, the restaurant staff, immaculate very well trained and personable.The facilities all excellent.Points that didn’t work so well.The butler service at the beginning of the cruise was non existent , our butler only came to see us after I phoned him as I had a lot of questions to ask due to being a first time cruiser, at first I was told to go do everything with concierge which I did, I have to say that they were very patient and extremely understanding and helpfulOn day two he was far more responsive and helpful, this continued throughout the rest of the cruise, he could not do enough for us.My point: on day one everything is new and strange, if the butler service is not going to operate on day one then at least leave an information sheet in the cabin for easy reference.Having spoken to a lot of people in yacht club they all experienced similar behaviour, some didn’t even see their butler for the entire cruise, this area needs to be tightened up as when you pay for something it should be there.This was the ONLY area that could be improved on, everything else was awesome so much so that we have just booked another cruise on the same ship.

Our cabin steward, Gene was excellent - very attentive and made our stay feel like 5 star luxury in the way our cabin was cleaned and tidied every day and the way he and the cabin stewards all looked after us. Everything on board was excellent and the Carousel show is a must!The only criticism is that the bars/lounges in the midship area of the ship around the atrium lacked sufficient seating and that was disappointing.

It was our first ever cruise and we have to say it was better than we had hope for, from the moment we left the taxi to getting into our cabin on deck 13 took less than 20 minutes. Our cabin was so much better than l had hope for and the extras we ordered were there ( apart from the Chocolate covered strawberries ) which arrived a bit after us, they were worth waiting for.A special mention has to go to Acton our cabin steward ( deck 13 cabin 13243 MSC Virtuosa ) who was more like a butler, he was absolutely brilliant. If you asked me to mark him out of 10 l would have to give him a 100. I can’t emphasise how glad we were that we picked MSC for a first cruise because we’ll be back. We love MSC virtuosa this is our 6 cruise on it we love the atmosphere and the layout of the ship the staff are amazing and make sure you are well cared for the cabins are immaculate and the whole ship is so clean.Norway was beautiful as usual despite the rainy weather loved all the little extras we got in our cabin with being a voyagers memberEmbarkation and disembarking was so easy and stress free.Entertainment could do with being updated as we’ve seen the shows before apart from Skywalker Michael Jackson that was the best show of the week and it was all booked up Cannot wait to sail on Virtuosa again

Ship, staff and food were excellent. Couldn’t fault them. The one excursion I went on was very overpriced considering how much the price really was had the ticket been bought independently. Other than that it was great.

Second time on this ship and in YC it was fabulous as always. The all the staff have been excellent. Our Butler and under butler both made you feel noting was to much trouble.
