I previously cruised with MSC(Magnifica) last year on a slightly longer cruise but similar itinerary, I mention as MSC seem to have tightened up their drinks packages - now you pay £10 more for half the drinks selection. Although Presioza is a newer ship it felt older than Magnifica - there are no USB sockets on the lamps in the stateroom for example. I do not know if it was because this was a packed (sold out) ship, but I did not feel like there was enough staff to cope. Long waiting times at the restaurants, cabins did not get cleaned as quickly. However it was still a fantastic cruise. The food was good and plentiful, although I griped at the drinks selection it was no problem getting drinks and you could get several at a time. The night club/disco was excellent. The shows were great and we all had a good time, but just slightly disappointed compared to last year. My advice is don't go in the School Holidays if you can help it!

We enjoyed our recent cruise. Sadly we found that the organization ref disembarking at the different ports was lacking in that we were told one particular deck, then no, it is this deck now and so it went at each port of call. Not all crew members seemed to have the correct information. Also we are Diamond tier with RCI International and we understood that MSC had been informed by Iglu and sadly this had not happened. Our loyalty membership had not been confirmed!!

La Coruna
DAY 230 Sep 2023

From here, enjoy the sweeping views out to sea – and don’t forget your camera!
Things to do in La Coruna:

Museo Domus
Dedicated to the science of human beings, Domus boasts more than 150 interactive features to educate and entertain visitors. Discover numerous exhibitions covering genetics, evolution and modern medicine, as well as the Open Laboratory space.

St. Peter Port, Guernsey
DAY 402 Oct 2023
Time at Port: from 8 AM to 6 PM
The capital of Guernsey, St. Peter Port is the place to go if you want to experience life on the second largest Channel Island. Soak up the Mediterranean feel as you explore the cobbled streets and quaint shops, stopping in Market Square to enjoy a drink or a bite to eat. Head to Castle Cornet for a spectacular view over the town or visit the Guernsey Museum & Art Gallery to dive into the island's history.
Things to do in St. Peter Port, Guernsey:
Castle Cornet
Castle Cornet, also known as Cornet Rock or Castle Rock, is a large island castle in Guernsey and a historic tidal island. It was crucial for both the island's defences and the defence of the roadstead, and was integrated into one of the breakwaters of St. Peter Port's port, the principal harbour of Guernsey, in 1859.
Guernsey Tapestry Gallery
The Bailiwick of Guernsey Millennium Tapestry, a community-wide undertaking, is displayed in the Guernsey Tapestry Gallery. Ten embroidered canvas panels, each representing a century, depict 1000 years of local history. The project's original goals were to serve as a permanent remembrance of the Millennium festivities, include the whole community, and inspire people to learn more about the history of the island.
Victor Hugo House
Victor Hugo resided in 38 Hauteville House in St. Peter Port, Guernsey, while he was living in exile from France. Hugo's descendants Jeanne, Jean, Marguerite, and François presented the home to the City of Paris in March 1927, the hundredth year of Romanticism.
Falmouth
DAY 503 Oct 2023
Time at Port: from 8 AM to 6 PM
A popular UK holiday destination, Falmouth sits on the coast of Cornwall, combining beautiful beaches with a lively town. Swanpool and Gyllyngvase are the town's must-visit beaches, while those wanting to learn more about the area's history should head to the National Maritime Museum. Before you leave, enjoy a walk to Pendennis Castle and be rewarded with beautiful ocean views.
Things to do in Falmouth:
Pendennis Castle
During your time in Falmouth, make sure to visit Pendennis Castle, one of Henry VIII's greatest fortifications for an exciting day of sightseeing. At this historic jewel, go back in time to Tudor Cornwall, learn moving wartime stories, and incredible views of the surrounding town. It was erected by Henry in the sixteenth century to stave against invasion from France and the Holy Roman Empire.
Trebah Garden
Trebah are idyllic subtropical gardens with a breathtaking backdrop of the coast. The 26 acres of this stunning Cornish valley garden, which has more than four miles of walkways, are filled with charm. Explore beneath exotic flower-filled canopies and colourful tunnels that lead to a private beach on the Helford River.
Maritime Museum
If you want to learn about Falmouth’s fascinating seafaring past, head to the National Maritime Museum Cornwall. Celebrating the sea, fisherman and the boats that have played a large part in Falmouth’s maritime heritage, the exhibitions, lectures and talks held here are captivating from start to finish.
Hamburg
DAY 705 Oct 2023
Time at Port: from 7 AM to 7 PM
A popular port of call on any European cruise, Hamburg is a thriving port city with plenty to offer. Once onshore, you'll see countless maritime attractions and seafood restaurants with fresh catches of the day. We recommend a city tour to admire the canals and lakes, as well as the World Heritage Site, Speicherstadt. To dive in on Hamburg's seafaring history, head to the International Maritime Museum, home to numerous artefacts and exhibitions.
Things to do in Hamburg:
Hamburg Townhall
Dating to 1897, the Hamburg Townhall houses the seat of government in the city, including Germany’s 16 parliaments within the state. A historic building with impressive architecture, it’s in the heart of the city and frequently listed as the top attraction to visit whilst stopping over in this beautiful destination.
Tierpark Hagenbeck
If you love animals, you should visit Tierpark Hagenbeck during your time in Hamburg. A spacious zoo, it dates back to 1907. However, the process to build the zoo began back in 1863 when Carl Hagenbeck Sr. began to grow his collection of animals. Now home to elephants, penguins and more, it’s a wonderful attraction within the city.
Elbphilharmonie
When you sail into Hamburg, you’ll be greeted by the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg; a concert hall which is one of the largest in the world. Home to an array of productions, this uniquely-designed building first opened its doors in the early 20th century.
