The MS Sapphire is one of two Tauck ships operating on France, cruising the Seine river while the other MS Emerald sails the Rhone. The ship is to be newly refurbished in March 2017 to meet the standards of comfort and excellence of the Tauck fleet.

Intimately and elegantly designed, this 98-passenger ship provides a fantastic look at the highlights of northwest France, including historic Rouen and Honfleur as well as artistic Giverny.

Known for their excellent use of space, Tauck ensures their guests receive the utmost comfort onboard, tailoring and crafting it to include everything you need from dining venues to excellent public areas and relaxing sun deck to comfortable staterooms.

Cuisine and Dining on MS Sapphire

The ship's elegant Compass Rose restaurant welcomes guests in the morning with a buffet breakfast. Enjoy a range of great and sumptuous choices while you take advantage of the open seating to sit near the window or with friends.

Head back to the ship to have lunch onboard, prepared with fresh ingredients and finely served, or perhaps visit a nearby private ranch in Camargue for a Provencal meal and wine. Returning to the ship will mean guests receive a hot or cold towel and drink depending on the weather.

Dine a la carte in the ship's restaurant, with the complimentary beverages to entice you, or let Tauck treat you to an exclusive dinner in a nearby castle or chateau.

The ship offers a lighter breakfast and alternative lunch and dinner at the intimate Arthur's restaurant, named after Arthur Tauck. Guests can also enjoy al fresco dining on the sun deck, American breakfast room service in Category 7 suites and complimentary snacks served between 10:00 AM and midnight.

Entertainment on MS Sapphire

Tauck's endeavours for enriching experiences means that Tauck guests will be able to enjoy excellent entertainment from experts and local artisans providing their insight or performing their craft, such as informative lectures and tantalising culinary demos and tastings. You can also enjoy soothing evening piano music and in-room movies if you want to take the time to relax or enjoy time on your own.

Spa & Fitness on MS Sapphire

For the comfort and pleasure of their guests, the ship is fitted with a generous Fitness centre and massage parlour on the Emerald Deck, while the sun deck features a putting green and a jacuzzi.
