Riviera Travel Covid-19 safety measures

  • Onboard

    To make sure that guests are well enough to travel, they must undergo a health screening beforehand, and will have their temperatures taken each day of their cruise. Stringent health screening also applies to crew, who must be deemed well enough to work prior to their contract, be monitored during their time onboard and maintain social distancing in crew areas. Social distancing between guests is maintained at embarkation, as well as onboard and ashore with smaller shore excursion groups and adapted restaurants and public areas. In addition, all payments will be contactless, restaurants will be full waiter service and hand sanitiser will be made available throughout the ship.

  • Cleaning

    When it comes to ship cleanliness, Riviera Travel will deep clean ships before each cruise, and will ensure that frequent cleaning and sanitation of public areas, frequently touched surfaces and coaches used for excursions are carried out. As well as this, modern climate control systems mean that all air onboard is fresh and never recirculated.

The holiday was just wonderful. The ship was beautiful, cabin was a good size and there was everything you needed. Food was excellent something for everyone. Staff were excellent could not fault anyone. The only thing I would say was maybe the tour manager on the ship could give more information regarding access to places eg if there are great number of steps, but that is only a minor point.
