Day 1: Travel UK > Hanoi

Day 2:
On arrival in Hanoi you will be greeted by our guide and transferred to your hotel for a 1 night stay. The remainder of your evening is at leisure.

Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay: This morning you will be picked up from your hotel and driven 3-4 hours to Halong Bay. On arrival, board your boat for your Halong Bay overnight cruise. A fresh lunch will be served on board whilst you sail toward Cua Van floating village. Take an excursion to this village and learn about the local culture. Return to your boat and relax on board until a Vietnamese cooking demonstration and dinner. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 4: Halong Bay - Hanoi: An early start this morning as you wake for the sunrise over Halong Bay followed by an invigorating Tai Chi lesson. Cruise towards Surprise Cave, renowned as the most beautiful cave in the Bay before returning to shore. Transfer back to Hanoi for a 1 night hotel stay and take a tour of the city. Upon arrival in Hanoi, visit the Temple of Literature, Hanoi's first university dating back to 1070 and a historical centre of learning, now dedicated to Confucian worship. Next explore the lively Old Quarter of Hanoi. This bustling heart of Hanoi has been a commercial centre since King Ly Thai To built his palace here in the 11th century. Consequently, numerous skilled craftsmen started to migrate to the city and artisan guilds were formed on the famous "36 Streets" End your day with a performance of the famous Water Puppets. Vietnamese Water Puppets were invented thousands of years ago by farmers in the Red River Delta region near Hanoi, as a means to entertain themselves when the rains flooded their rice paddy fields. (Brunch)

Day 5: Hanoi - Siem Reap:
Sightseeing this morning includes a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Quarter where you will see Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, the Stilt House and the One Pillar Pagoda. Afterwards spend time at Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, opened by the government to help preserve and present the cultural heritage of the ethnic groups. Vietnam is a multi-ethnic country, composed of 54 ethnic groups and today you will learn more about these groups, their traditions and languages. Lunch will be at a local restaurant before your transfer to Hanoi Airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Fly Hanoi/Siem Reap. Upon arrival at Siem Reap Airport you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel for a 3 night stay. You will get a chance to freshen up before a special Gala Dinner to celebrate the New Year. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 6: Siem Reap: In the morning, explore the Grand Circuit of Temples including Preah Khan, Neak Poan, Ta Som and East Mebon. The rest of the day is yours to explore this charming town. (Breakfast)

Day 7: Angkor Wat: Rise early to explore the world-renowned temples of Angkor, starting with magnificent Angkor Wat. Continue to Angkor Thom, the Bayon, Elephant Terrace, Terrace of the Leper King and the fabulous Ta Phrom. The remainder of your day is at leisure. (Breakfast & Lunch)

Day 8: After Breakfast transfer from the hotel to the airport for your flight to Singapore.
