Pleasantly surprised by overall standard - slightly disappointed with the food

Excellent cruise, good itinerary, good weather, excellent service. Brilliant captain kept you informed on everything and about the ship a lot, even waved us off at end of cruise.

Our first Marella cruise. ALL staff on board were fantastic, great itinerary, plenty of time in port. Plenty of choices to eat. We will book with Marella again.

Absolutely fantastic itenary , the ship and crew were amazing , couldn’t fault anything , very friendly and happy staff , go out of their way to get what you need , always use marella cruises because we just love the whole experience, looking forward to our next one

Shows were good, food excellent and staff courteous and nothing was too much trouble - our excursions were good value and well conducted

My wife and I had our first cruise on the Discovery, and we really enjoyed our experience. The food in all restaurants was fantastic, with Gallery 47 and The Glass Room being a particular highlight. Every restaurant was made better by the incredible staff. Ever attentive and extremely friendly, every dining experience was a joy thanks to the waiting staff. While the pool was always busy, we found space most of the time. Our cabin was absolutely fine, always clean and never without the essentials. The two members of staff who took care of our cabin, 3600, were absolutely brilliant. Romeo and Mark always had a friendly hello in the morning, and seemed to know our names before we even stepped on the ship! Extremely impressed s by the two of them. There didn't seem to be an awful lot of activities on the ship, however the mini golf and climbing wall always seemed busy, and the entertainment on offer gave more than enough to do. All in all, we would definitely book again with Marella, and would reccomend in a heartbeat.
