Marella Discovery Reviews

Good cruise to Adriatic ports - though Split (Croatia) and Koper (Slovenia) were a bit disappointing. Koper particularly - could walk round the town in less than an hour with nothing much to see or do. Marella Discovery is a nice ship with good staff, good food and entertainment. Thomson/TUI flight on way home was both delayed and re-directed, resulting in a stressful journey home for us. Would we go again - only if price was very tempting.

Was recently onboard the Discovery, had a brilliant time and there is a young host on there called Dean he is a very funny young man and made my holiday so much more fun. Entertainment team all very good all very friendly but Dean just goes that extra mile to make you all feel welcome.

Tui have really got their act together.They are well organised from start to finish.There is no hassle or worries because everything is done for you.Good flights, transfers and check in at the port. Entertainment on the ship was very good,with various types of shows in the theatre and some great bands and musicians in the lounge bars. Food on board the ship is of a high standard with a good selection dishes The staff are all very friendly and helpful.From cabin staff right up to the Captain Who has a GREAT sense Humour. Overall this was a really nice cruise and would recommend Marella (Tui) cruises to friends and family.------------One downside was Corfu airport Check in is a nightmare Greeks to blame for that

Stengths : Crew really friendly and attentive. Have to say a big thank you to Lynne the customer relations manager on board, she is excellent. Entertainment first class, varied and high quality. Ship better than any previous Tui/Thomson ship we have sailed on. Weaknesess Hand sanitizer kept running out with no immediate replenishment. Loss of luggage on arrival, still in Manchester. Corfu airport on departure disorganised, no Tui/Thomson management present. Queuing outside airport for over an hour in sunshiane without moving. Many angry passengers were vowing never to use Tui anymore. Sadly we agree.

Great cruise in every way. Fantastic food, entertainment and service. All the staff are amazing. This was our first cruise and we loved it. Thank you to Captain Chris and all his team

lovely ship. fantastic staff. Good accommodation. excellent choice of food and entertainment. only fault was the cost... so many people who got really good deals on cost... some had paid half of the cost we paid.

We had lovely holiday This was our first cruise and enjoyed every aspect. The food, entertainment and staff where excellent.

Fantastic time. Excellent itinerary round Italy. On board staff fantastic and staff on excursions knew their subjects. Food and drink of a high standards and cocktails to die for. Iglu provided an excellent service
