brilliant ,fantastic. food, entertainment, staff and service topped off with a junior suite .best holiday/cruise in 55 years of traveling. We dined @ table 42 in the 47 Degrees restaurant served by possibly 2 of the best waiters afloat, Thank you JUSTIN and JOYSON and all the crew onboard DISCOVERY.

All the crew made it an amazing vacation. Yanina in the reception helped alot. All the musicians in muz’k nation, B12 and Leoh was great every evening. Great food with alot og different choice. The housekeepers forgot to change towels and give new toiletpaper alot of times. But the cabin was clean. Travel from Gatwick to Corfu and back, and transfer to the ship was easy.

Had a fantastic holiday on board this ship met some lovely people food was excellent with excellent service , we sat near near Charles and Arg station most nights and what service these boys give, my husband can’t stand cheese so Charles organised for a menu to be sent to our cabin so my husband could pick and be assured there was cheese Charles was the only one in the restaurant to do this for us, entertainment in all areas was great , staff were pleasant and helpful and friendly can’t wait to go back on the ship for Christmas .

Overall the cruise was excellent the only downside was the change of flights we payed extra to fly from East Midlands as the flight times were good getting back at 13 10 but didn’t get back till 2330 which was a big disappointment

Excellent ship, super staff ,so friendly. Massive choice of food , great facilities, plenty of lifts , Rooms are spacious , cabin attendant Jossy was the Best ,on the case at all times. Broadway shows were so good , very professional. Now the BAD stuff. LACK OF AVAILABLE SUN BEDS ,WHOLE OF TRIP . . There were 4 of us ,but we could at no time find more than odd singles due to many people clipping towels ,sometimes all day ,but only using the beds for shortspells. 4 people spending over £6000 NOT HAPPY.

We chose this cruise for the itinerary as it seemed to be the only one that included the Greek Islands. The ship was good and the staff were excellent, however there were some issues we had that reduced our rating and affected our overall experience. The entertainment was OK a couple of nights only out of the 7 nights. The shows in the broadway lounge were disappointing compared to other cruises we have been on. Just when you wanted to relax by the pool in the afternoon, the volume was turned up and you had no choice but to listen to the holiday camp style entertainment with some particularly annoying people who were not funny from the entertainment team. Don’t book Marella excursions! Luckily we only booked one and it was very poorly organised. We went on the Athens & Acropolis tour. After docking at 8am, we didn’t leave until 9am and spent an hour and a half in traffic around Athens being shown some sites from the coach. We arrived at the Acropolis at about 10.45 with all the other cruise excursions, so it was rammed. There was no Fast Track entrance and therefore had to queue in the very hot sun for over an hour. By the time we got up to the top it was approaching midday and we had to be back at the coach at 12.30. The temperature reached nearly 40 degrees that day and we then had to queue to get down. We were extremely concerned from a safety perspective and the attraction really does not cater for this many people. Why the cruise lines don’t stagger visits I’m not quite sure. In addition, I was charged the same amount of money for this excursion for my 16 year old daughter as the rest of us. The guide asked how many under 18s there were before going off to get the tickets. The tickets we were given had 20 euros on it, but my daughters had zero, so must have been free. I paid 59GBP each, so someone is making money! When I complained about the excursion and queried the charge with the Destination Team reps, I received a letter response to my cabin which was very poorly written and didn’t make sense. They were clearly not interested. The food was overall OK but not up to the standard of other cruises. The ship had an adults only area, but didn’t have a shower or plunge pool. On the positive side, it was great that most drinks were all inclusive and they didn’t put tips automatically on your bill. They do charge for the bottled water in your cabin though.
